With over 30 years of experience working in manufacturing and the last two decades in the bridal industry, Young is the soul of our brand. She is a visionary who sees beyond the standard silhouette, focusing on the “architecture of the fit” to ensure every gown provides the confidence, support, and beauty a curvy bride deserves. Young’s designs are the culmination of working daily with brides, having founded Brides by Young (the largest plus size bridal stores in the world) and her love for wedding dress design.

In 2014, Lauren was the first employee of Brides by Young, working side-by-side with Young to perfect the bridal experience one bride at a time. Her years spent in the dressing room have given her an intuitive understanding and expertise of what today’s bride is searching for and the challenges retail partners face. As National Sales Director, Lauren is the bridge between our atelier and our boutique partners, ensuring that every stylist has the tools and the "Signature" and "Glam" collections they need to make their brides feel iconic.
